Chicken Taquitos

Ingredients

  • Shredded chicken

  • 1/4 tsp cumin

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

  • 1 can tomato sauce

  • Corn tortillas

Method

Pre heat oven on 400. Combine the chicken and seasonings in a mixing bowl. Heat up the tortillas in the microwave to get them soft so you can roll them up! I layered three on a paper towel then added another paper towel and so on..Fill the tortillas with chicken, roll them up, line them on a baking sheet and then drizzle olive oil over each taquito. 

Heat for about 20 mins or until the tortillas have a nice golden crisp look! They will continue to get crispy once you take them out of the oven. 

Optional:

Avocado Crema

1 avocado, a spoonful of plain greek yogurt, and 1 tbsp of your favorite salsa (I used a jalapeño  tomatillo salsa). Then mix together with an immersion blends (what I used) or a small food processor, blender, whatever ya got!
