Mamma Agata Bolognese

Thanks to Rachel with Food Life Love for sharing this amazing recipe! Going to Ravello and cooking with Mamma Agata is on my bucket list. This bolognese is incredible! I am going to share a screen shot of the original recipe and then I will make notes of what I added!

4.Simmer the sauce for 2 hours. You do not want the sauce to be boiling, just to be at a gentle simmer.

5. After 2 hours, taste the sauce to adjust any necessary seasonings. Toss with pasta or whatever you would like and enjoy!

Things I did different!

I added….

1/4 tsp garlic and onion powder

1/2 tbsp red pepper flakes

1 tsp dried basil

1/4 tsp Italian seasoning

I used Ancient Harvest lentil spaghetti— made it a little bit on the guilt-free side

Served with green beans!

Tips: add the spaghetti to the bolognese, top spaghetti with a thin layer of parmesan. Fold the spaghetti in the sauce and spoon the sauce over the pasta to really toss it up together!

Top with more parm if desired! Can’t wait to make this again.
